  • Permissible relaxation in upper age limit is 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates. The Central Govt. servant who have rendered not less than -3 years regular service as on closing date for receipt of application shall be permissible for age relaxation upto 40 years and in case of SC/ST, it shall be 45 years.
  • No age and other relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates for the posts earmarked only for UR category.
  • ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

    1. Engine Driver –
    Qualification: Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or Equivalent
    Essential: Certificate of competency as Engine Driver from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.
    Desirable: Two years’ service as Sarang on a Vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power.
    2. Sarang Lascar –
    Qualification: Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or Equivalent
    Essential: Certificate of competency as Sarang from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.
    Desirable: Two years experience as Sarang in-charge of a Vessel of twenty Horse Power.
    3. Store Keeper Grade II –
    Essential:
    (i) 12th pass from recognized Board or University.
    (ii) One year experience in handling Stores from any recognized firm or Central or State Government organization , or Public Sector Undertakings
    4. Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG) –
    Essential:
     (i) 10th Standard pass.
    (ii) Must possess valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles
    (iii) Should have atleast two years’ experience in driving motor vehicles.
    (iv) Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to repair minor defects in vehicles)
    5. Fireman –
    Essential:
    (i) Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent.
    (ii) Should be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
    6. ICE Fitter (Skilled) –
    Essential:
     (a) Matriculation or equivalent.
    (b) Should have successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized / reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprentice Act 1961 or under any other recognized Apprentice Scheme.
    OR
    Should have completed training course in the relevant trade from an III recognized for this purpose and have 1-year trade experience
    OR
    4 years’ experience in the trade for which no training is available in them or other recognized institutions.
    c) Should qualify a trade entrance examination.
    7. Spray Painter –
    Qualification: Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards Essential:  Should have completed apprenticeship in the trade from Industrial Training Institute or other recognized institutions.
    Desirable:Two year experience in the trade.
    8. MT Fitter/ MT Tech/ MT Mech –
    Essential:
    (i) Matriculation or equivalent
    (ii) Two years’ experience in automobile workshop
    Desirable:  I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade
    9. Multi Tasking Staff (Mali) –
    Essential: 
    (i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.
    (ii) Two years’ experience as Mali in any nursery / organisation
    10. Multi Tasking Staff (Peon) –
    Essential: 
     (i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.
    (ii) Two years’ experience as Office Attendant.
    11. Multi Tasking Staff (Daftary) –
    Essential: 
     (i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.
    (ii) Two years’ experience as Office Attendant.
    12. Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper) –
    Essential: 
     (i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.
    (ii) Two years’ experience in deanship in any recognized firm,

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:-

(a) The envelope containing the application must be superscripted as “application for the post of________________________________ ” application should be submitted by Ordinary Post only.

(b) Application sent by speed post/Register post/Courier will not be entertained.

(c) Self attested copies of educational certificate, Age proof, driving license for CMTD(OG) for both heavy light vehicles, Trade certificate as required, Certificate for EWS/OBC/SC/ST and experience certificate, if any should be enclosed with the application proforma with regard to Economically Weaker Sections(EWS) is placed at Annexure-ii Candidates in Central govt. Service should submit NOC from their present employer alongwith applications.

(c) The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for written test.

(d) In case of receipt of large number of applications, screening of applications on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the exam for essential qualification will be carried out to reduce candidates for written exam. A benchmark percentage will be fixed depending on the number of applicants. No weightage will be given for additional/ higher education (other than those prescribed in the Recruitment Rules). All candidates meeting the benchmark will be allowed to appear in the written exam. The administration reserves the Right to fix a cut off/ benchmark for selection. Short listed candidates only will be called for written test.

(e) Candidates to bring original documents on the date of written examination. No TA will be paid for the written test. Candidates have to make their own lodging and transportation arrangements for tests. The authority will not be responsible to pay any damages in case of injury during physical test.

(f) The appointment carries with it liability to serve any part of India. The place of initial posting is provisional and subject to change depending on availability of vacancy at the time of posting.

(g) The number of vacancies indicated in this recruitment notice is provisional and may increase or decrease or even become NIL, depending upon the actual needs of the Region. the Administration also reserves the right to cancel the notified vacancies, at its discretion and such decision will be final and binding on all in the event of cancellation of notified vacancies.

(h) All posts are temporary but likely to be permanent under MoD with probation period of two years. The appointee will be governed by the New pension Scheme.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

The selection of candidates will be based only on the merit in written examination. However, the skill / Physical test wherever required will be conducted, but will only be qualifying in nature with no bearing on the overall merit.

    • Written Test
  • written test will be conducted for Group “C” and upgraded Group “C” posts. The qualifying marks in written exam is 50% and the candidates who qualify the written test will be shortlisted for the trade test (where applicable). In case of SC/ST candidate the qualifying marks shall be 45%. No relaxation in qualifying marks is admissible to OBC and EWS candidates.
    • Trade test/Skill Test :- Trade/skill test are devised to check the performance/ aptitude of a candidate for the said trade. Separate skill tests are to be administered for each trade. the candidates who qualify the written test are to appear for the trade/ skill test. The trade/skill test wherever required will only be qualifying in nature and shall hove no bearing on the overall merit.
